I have arrived in London, and I just wanted to document the event by making a quick blog post. Watching trains and red buses from my window I can barely believe I am here. For a while it seemed as if I wouldn't be doing a Masters at all, and now I find myself... well, here! My parents have just left, and I feel simultaneously very old and very young at the same time. I saw a lot of fresh faced teenagers move in today, for whom this experience is an entirely new one, and yet, despite this being the 5th place I have moved to without my parents, I still feel like a newcomer who doesn't know quite what to do or what to expect. And in that respect I suppose that many of us are the same, not entirely secure in ourselves or our future, and this I think is not a bad thing, but something to be cherished for it shows life as the unpredictable entity it is.
I think I might go exploring now.
Love, R.
